proud of the house we've built...

What an incredible three years it has been in our house. From ugly orange walls and carpet, to beautiful greens and hardwoods. From a yard full of pine trees to a huge open yard for Riley to play in. We are both so proud of the hard work and effort we have put into our home. We couldn't imagine raising Riley anywhere else. We have lots of goals and plans for our house later on down the road. (expanding the kitchen, adding a master and bonus room and garage...etc.)
I wanted to share some before pictures when we first purchased our house and some "now" pictures. I don't want to say after, because our house is a work in progress for sure. We love it.

So these are some before shots:

incredible back yard!
We have done a lot of work. I would like to get the office painted again now. I painted it originally as a guest bedroom but since we have moved Riley into the old office, we no longer have a guest bedroom (we do have an air mattress!!!). It needs to be one solid color. I would also like to paint the guest bathroom. But I am hoping my next project involves our laundry room. It has come a long way for sure, but it needs some work. And after the laundry room- Our next project will be to remodel the guest bathroom. I love renovating! It is so much fun.

I will leave you with some [nowhere close to finished] photos of Riley Q's nursery!!!

the beginning of her clothing addiction (ok, MY clothing addiction for her) -p.s. there are a lot of clothes folded in the drawers too. lol
the dresser and mirror and side table and crib (ok, all of the furniture) is being painted antique white this weekend!!! she has the green changing pad cover and a white one with pink polka dots

her chandelier will hang where the fan is now. her swing will go to the right of the crib and her glider will likely go on the wall to the left of the crib- this is the "for now" plan until we get the chair in there and see what looks good. We are still missing the chair rail between the two paint colors. She has green curtains with white polka dots that match her bedding from pottery barn kids. I cannot wait to see it all together!!!

~let go laughing!!!
